"In January of 2011, an old friend of mine was in very bad shape and taken to hospital by paramedics. His friends felt that it would be a good idea to have a Personal Support Worker (PSW) attend to him throughout the day. We contacted Metrocare Health Services, who came to assess his condition and assign a suitable PSW to care for him. The PSW assigned was kind, gentle, competent and conscientious, as well as a pleasant companion for our friend. He steadily improved during several weeks of medical treatment and care. After three months he was able to leave the hospital and wanted the same PSW to be available for him subsequently. Metrocare was able to oblige. Throughout the process,Metrocare has been responsive to our friend’s needs and has accommodated our occasional special requests.
